The objective of this publication is to share experiences with the wider practitioner community on how a value chain project can be designed and implemented to upgrade a specific industry value chain in a weaker economy such as Nepal. The publication deals with all of the processes and steps of value chain approach in a holistic way:
- selection of sub-sector
- chain mapping and analysis
- designing the intervention strategies
- implementation
- monitoring and evaluation
It includes many useful and practical examples and cases of interventions within and around the value chain.
