The Local Market Development Project has published a 50-page report called "Adding Value in Agriculture", which explores the economics of the different crops that smallholder farmers can grow in Kyrgyzstan. In particular, it considers how the margins that farmers can actually earn with these crops vary during the year.
Also posted below are three newsletters from the project. They outline ways in which market information is being made available by SMS, and work on transport of agricultural produce.
