- Description
This transcript reflects the content of a three-day e-conference on the subject of microenterprise in post-conflict environments. The e-conference was sponsored by USAID microLINKS and hosted by representatives from the American Refugee Committee and Making Cents. On day one, the discussion focused on the general needs of microentrepreneurs in post-conflict situations. On day two, the conversation shifted to the role of business training in post-conflict environments. On day three, participants considered how BDS services can be sequenced or linked to other relief and development activities. Although the e-conference did not yield firm conclusions, the discussion raised many interesting issues and provided an opportunity for practicioners to ask questions and share experiences. Information about this and other microLINKS speaker's corners events can be found at the website above.
